DRIVERS, with its aim of improving health equity through both policy and practice initiatives, is entering its final stage with an exciting couple of months ahead!
Preparations are currently under way on communicating the project’s main outcomes and achievements to the outside world and driving the desired change in the 3 DRIVERS determinants: early childhood development, fair employment and social protection.
DRIVERS policy recommendations are being developed and will be ready for launch at our DRIVERS event at the European Parliament on February 3, 2015.
In the build up to this event, we are embarking on a communications work journey to ensure that there is maximum exposure and up-take by policy-makers, researchers and practitioners of the main findings and reports produced by the consortium. This is a crucial time that can give the work that has been conducted over the last years a lasting impact beyond the project’s lifespan.
We have identified TWITTER as a valuable social media tool that can help us reach out to a wider audience and pave the way for our DRIVERS event. Therefore, in the upcoming months, DRIVERS will be launching a Twitter campaign to disseminate the project outcomes, stimulate discussion on the policy recommendations and inform followers of the latest DRIVERS developments.
